(PRLEAP.COM) Famed for her handcrafted twisted sterling silver hearts entwined with semi-precious stones and crystals (and recently featured on GMTV), designer Bo of www.bobangles.co.uk has now introduced new designs and materials into her Bo Bangles collection.
Alongside the hearts, you can now choose from the Summer Sparkle collection, necklaces made out of beautiful Mother of Pearl shell with crystals, as well as from a bridal jewellery collection, which includes shell necklaces created especially for beach brides, stunning tiaras (also suitable as evening wear for non-brides at any time of the year!) as well as Bo’s stunning swarovski crystal hearts. Bo’s jewellery has already been seen around town (as well as on TV) on celebrities Kate Garraway, Clare Nasir, Penny Smith, Emma B and Eastender’s Laurie Brett. Bo has also scooped a number of awards for her work, including the Start-ups, Newham Chamber of Commerce Business and Highly Commended Business Woman of the Year 2005, as well as the HSBC East London and Essex Business Awards.
Bo began making jewellery after her father died. She felt strongly that she wanted to create something that was everlasting and, after a course on silver jewellery making, Bo’s Bangles was born nearly two years ago.
Bo is inspired by a large array of influences, including the countries where she has lived. Born in the USA, Bo has lived in Switzerland, Puerto Rico, Nigeria, Somalia, Ethiopia, Cuba and now London. Previously an actress in many programmes such as the Bill, Casualty, Family Affairs and soap London Bridge, Bo now spends her time designing and making her enchanting jewellery, and is available for comment or interview on info@bobangles.co.uk
