Corrugated Solutions, LLC. has been selected by UPS as the exclusive provider of internal packaging material for the National Governors’ Association meeting in Des Moines, Iowa.

Each hosting state usually gives 4-5 gifts made or grown locally to each Governor attending the meeting. UPS will be shipping the gifts to each Governor’s home state on behalf of Iowa’s Governor and host Thomas J. Vilsack.

Corru-Fill® was chosen because it too is made in Iowa and has been successfully tested by UPS for protecting items in transit.

Corru-Fill® is made from cardboard collected from small and mid-size businesses in the Des Moines metro area. The company diverts tons of cardboard each month that would have ended up in the landfill. The biodegradable packing material replaces both Styrofoam™ packing peanuts and bubblewrap™, so it saves shippers dollars, eliminates damage and is good for the environment.

The 97th Annual National Governors’ Association meeting is taking place July 15-18 in Des Moines, Iowa where they expect about 30 of the nation’s governors to attend.
