Game Developer Hiding Buffalo release “Something in the water” the third mystery in the acclaimed Gumshoe Online detective game series.

"Something in the water", is a story of big business, blackmail and murder; a “film noir” adventure set in the crime-ridden streets of 1930’s America. A mystery where life-like characters, a twisting storyline and mind bending puzzles recreate the feel of classic movies such as Key Largo, The Third Man and The Maltese Falcon.

“When William Richmond uncovers a plan to contaminate the city’s water supply, you’re the only person he can turn to; the only person he can trust and the only person who can save Wheaton City.”

Gumshoe Online is a series of point and click detective games played over the Internet using a standard web browser. The game taps into the hugely popular crime and mystery genre and uses the Internet to make adventure gaming accessible to all.

Niclas Kjellin, co-founder of Hiding Buffalo said, “Something in the Water is the best Gumshoe Online mystery so far, the case is packed with new locations, characters and puzzles; it’s a real test for any online sleuth.”
