XDS, Inc. Changes Company Name to SIMtone Corporation
(PRLEAP.COM) Durham, NC (January 15, 2008) – XDS, Inc., a privately held company delivering the next virtual computing paradigm, today announced its name change to SIMtone™ Corporation. The new name leverages the brand equity of the company’s flagship SIMtone universal dialtone technology, which was launched in January 2007.
“By renaming our company to SIMtone Corporation, we are truly acknowledging the success of our SIMtone services platform that was introduced to the enterprise market one year ago,” said Brian Allain, Executive Vice President of Corporate Marketing. “Our existing customers and partners are already very familiar with the SIMtone brand and embracing it for our corporate identity was a natural fit and easy transition.”
The company name change will drive an aggressive marketing campaign in 2008, which includes a whole new corporate identity to be launched in the next few weeks.
