(PRLEAP.COM) Rival blasting, servant-bashing and blinding bling, Diary of a Mad Fashionista is sure to amuse.

A Dog, a Diary and Double Ds: Elisa DeCarlo IS the Mad Fashionista, the plus size Internet diva feared throughout the world of style. This larger-than-life Goddess of Chic dishes celebrity secrets and imparts acerbic fashion advice in this farcical couture comedy, based on the popular comic blog.

In a fight rivaling the Rumble in the Jungle between George Foreman and Muhammad Ali, The Mad Fashionista battles archrival Sabrina Airchild for possession of the Holy Grail of vintage fashion: a 1967 Christian Dior Cheetah coat with Otter collar and cuffs. Airchild, a New Age California vegan vintage seller whose tendency to quote from The Secret enrages the Fashionista to a boiling point, wins the coat at auction. With a quick “Peace-Out,” Airchild disappears into the Hollywood netherworld. Her triumph fractures the Fashionista’s unbending ego.

The Mad Fashionista’s story unfolds through scenes interspersed with lectures on Fashion In The True Sense at F.I.T.’s “Haute-Cou-Poor” course, which she created to teach couture to the “great unwashed masses” (in her own words). From visits from the ghost of her dear dead friend Lana Turner, to her penchant for browbeating her series of assistants (all played by Shannon Sutherland) to her personal and family history, The Mad Fashionista draws us into her quirky and sensual personal and professional life. Her wit, wisdom and obsession with style and celebrity will entertain even the most fashion-challenged comedy and theater lovers.

Diary of a Mad Fashionista is sure to entice, spice and warm up a cold winter evening. Oh, and look out, too, for Bucky the Wonderdog, the Mad Fashionista’s constant companion. He bites.
