Design Firm Wins Web Site Awards

Harbor Springs, MI – A local nonprofit recently received recognition for a new web design project that took time, dedication and a lot of hard work for everyone involved.

The judges at DesignFirms.org announced that the Little Traverse Bay Humane Society web site was found to be one of the best on the Internet. DesignFirms awarded Harbor Springs Web Design with the DesignFirms Web Design Award for June 2005.

“We are honored to be recognized by our peers for a project that holds such a special place in our hearts,” said Cindy Dickson, partner with Harbor Springs Web Design.

The LTBHS web site was created as a marketing tool and educational piece for the organization, plus the staff can update news, events and pets for adoption with ease. The web design team received high marks in the following categories: Creativity and Design, Programming and Compatibility and Ease of Use & Effectiveness. The American Association Of Webmasters Awards recently recognized Harbor Springs Web Design for outstanding achievement in web design, content and creativity for their own web site – http://www.harborspringswebdesign.com. The web site received awards for Clean Design and Layout of Website, as well as Quality and Informative Content for Visitors.
