The link is between Deal in E-Kent and Homa Bay, Kenya.

Brewood school in Deal (part of Lynstead Children's Services), is a safe and secure environment for young people who are experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties. These children have usually been excluded from other educational establishments.

Mwangaza school (Swahili for school of Light) in Homa Bay, Western Kenya on the shores of Lake Victoria. is a not for profit school that provides quality, holistic education to all young people, including many orphans, preparing them for the challenges of the future.

Mind Gliding describes itself as a Relationship Catalyst. The link between Breewood and Mwangaza is the start of many similar relationships that will foster increased acceptance and understanding of the needs of others.

As part of its commitment, Mind Gliding is making complicated psychological concepts and theories available to a wider audience.

The ‘5 elements of Relationship’ as described by Professor Petruska Clarkson is at the centre of all work done by Mind Gliding.

By linking these two establishments, both of which have clearly identified areas of need we provide an opportunity to build relationships that will benefit everyone concerned:

The students at Breewood will build self confidence and esteem and the students in Kenya will benefit from support and sponsorship from the UK.
