Despatch Industries Introduces 200mm Magnetic Annealing Tool

Minneapolis, Minn., - February 25, 2008 – Despatch Industries, a world leader in providing high quality thermal treatment equipment to the data storage, semiconductor, and solar markets is now providing a 200mm version of its MT-300 magnetic annealing tool.

Despatch’s new magnetic annealing tool is designed to perform vacuum annealing to 300°C under medium or high vacuum at magnetic fields anywhere from 500-10,000 Gauss. Tight temperature control during fast ramp, soak and cool down profiles with tight temperature uniformity (± 1°C) at soak are possible. In addition, SECS/GEM data and recipe communication provide the user with the best performance available. Various backfill gases are available along with an option for measuring oxygen in the vacuum exhaust stream. The vacuum chamber can hold up to twenty-two (22) 200mm diameter wafers, which can be moved in and out of the chamber using various carriers.
