ShortOnChange.com (http://www.ShortOnChange.com) is soon to launch the ShortOnChange.com Financial Assistance Fund - a new campaign aimed at helping individuals and families who are facing possible foreclosure and/or bankruptcy. The anticipated launch date is March 15, 2008.

While the United States government is busy trying to figure out what they are going to do to help American homeowners with their troubled mortgages, ShortOnChange.com has decided that it might not be feasible for people in need of assistance with their mortgages to wait that long. On March 15, 2008, the new start-up company will launch the ShortOnChange.com Financial Assistance Fund. This fund will raise money by donations and government grants and use that money to assist individuals who are facing possible foreclosure and/or bankruptcy.

The initial goal set for the ShortOnChange.com Financial Assistance Fund is one million United States dollars ($1,000,000.00). ShortOnChange.com has pledged one thousand U.S. dollars ($1,000.00) to the creation of the fund and hopes that people will realize that it is important to help their fellow Americans in times of need and that the current U.S. economy is certainly in a time of need.

Individuals and families facing financial difficulties are strongly encouraged to continue working with their lenders to resolve payment problems. They are also encouraged to seek out debt counseling services and legal advice from competent professionals. Although financial assistance from ShortOnChange.com is subject to funding availability, people are also encouraged to apply to the ShortOnChange.com Financial Assistance Fund.

Donations may be made on the company website (http://www.ShortOnChange.com). Applications for financial aide from the fund may be made on the company website as well.
