Project Responder to spotlight local volunteer fire departments.

The owner of Project Responder, the Ultimate Volunteer Firefighter’s Emergency Response Vehicle, recently announced a new program whereby Project Responder will be visiting the local firehouses along it’s travels to and from the various shows and events Project Responder attends. In an effort to spotlight the community heroes found in the volunteer fire departments throughout the US, a new section has been added to the Project Responder website to share the experience of these visits. The goal is to seek out the local firehouse in the cities and towns where the truck stops, whether for fuel, food or just taking a break, and take a photo of Project Responder at the firehouse. Of course, it’s not just about the photos, it’s about the men and women that man these stations and give their time and energy to their communities. This is where the real story lies, and through the Project Responder website, we hope to be able to bring some of these stories out for everyone to share.
