Invitees for theONE. will include: San Diego’s high-profile sports stars, local celebrities, architects, attorneys/lawyers, entrepreneurs, doctors, developers, businessmen/businesswomen, select Corporations, select high-rise condo developments, etc… The only way to become a member of theONE. is through receiving an invitation. No invitation means no membership. Exclusivity and being discrete about their members is what makes theONE. so unique. Members can request invitations for their friends or family but will not be officially sent till theONE. approves the individual. Once a member has the invitation they can select from two membership plans, which theONE. is keeping secret.

About theONE.
theONE. is the brainchild of Gibrán Huerta, who started his hospitality career in 2005 with W Hotels Worldwide, upon returning from his studies in Paris. Huerta began his hospitality journey as a Welcome Desk agent at W San Diego. It is here where Huerta’s passion for hospitality grew. After having worked a year behind the desk and learning the ins and outs of the hotel world; Huerta accepted the position of Concierge at the W San Diego. Upon doing so, Huerta became one of San Diego’s youngest Concierge at the age of 21. During his first year as Concierge, Huerta took W Hotel’s signature Whatever/Whenever service to the next level. Huerta received high remarks from his high-profile clientele to his hospitality counterparts. In 2006, Huerta was nominated as Hospitality Person of the Year by the San Diego Hotel/Motel Association for going above and beyond the call of duty. Huerta was also part of the pre-opening team at the IVY hotel, where he assisted with the opening of the property.

Being a Concierge at luxury boutique hotel made Huerta realize the demand for personalized unique concierge services. Huerta noticed more and more locals calling to ask him questions about events going on in the city and help getting into area restaurants/nightclubs. Huerta researched the few "lifestyle management" companies based out of San Diego only to realize that their level of service was not up to par with his. Shortly after, Huerta began creating the early phases of theONE. Huerta summoned the help of some of his trusted hotel colleagues. theONE.’s talented concierge team consists of concierges that have worked with some of the countries most exclusive boutique hotels, all members of the San Diego Concierge Association, as well as one member of the prestigious Clefs D’Or. "Having all worked with San Diego’s top boutique hotels, we’re used to dealing with celebrities, royalty and other high-profile clientele on a daily basis. The only difference from my job at the hotel and my role with theONE. will be that I will now be helping the same type of clientele but now on a local and more personalized level.
