EXPORTREPORTS.COM LAUNCHES BETA VERSION OF BASECAMP ADD-ON
(
PRLEAP.COM) OAK PARK, MI, Apr. 2, 2008 – ExportReports.com today announced the launch of the first beta version of its online service for 37signals’ Basecamp user community.
ExportReports is a Basecamp add-on that enables users to create PDF reports of project information including: posts, messages, milestones, to-dos and contact information for project participants. Reports may be generated for a specific range of dates or the entire project. The PDF format allows users to archive projects offline, read project information offline and share that information with customers or stakeholders.
ExportReports provides direct account access to users via the Basecamp API. Written in Adobe ColdFusion8, ExportReports is offered as an online service. ColdFusion facilitates integration with web services such as the Basecamp API and operates seamlessly with PDF, also an Adobe product.
ExportReports is currently available for a limited time at the introductory beta price starting at $0.99 per report or $69.99 for an unlimited number of reports in a 30-day period.
The development of ExportReports was significantly influenced by feedback from the online community and ExportReports.com continues to welcome user feedback through the “Suggestions” button at the bottom of the
www.exportreports.com page.
ExportReports.com is a collaboration between project management software developer Vertabase and ColdFusion developer Terrence Ryan. Both Mark Phillips of Vertabase and Terry Ryan are active in the Adobe user community. For more information, please visit
