HAYCOCK PETROLEUM COMPANY ACQUIRES BOWEN PETROLEUM

(PRLEAP.COM) Haycock Petroleum Company (HPC) announced today the acquisition of Bowen Petroleum, Inc. and an affiliated company; Bowen Trucking, Inc. Headquartered in Pocatello, Idaho, Bowen Petroleum was founded by Dan (E. Daniel) Bowen in 1977 and is the leading supplier of truck and cardlock delivered fuels, lubricants, and related value-added services to retail, agricultural, and commercial and industrial customers in Southern and Southeastern Idaho. Bowen Petroleum operates four warehouse / bulk plant and cardlock facilities, in Pocatello, Idaho Falls, Rexburg and Burley.

Haycock Petroleum was formed in 1962 by Clair Haycock in Las Vegas, Nevada. HPC merged with Jardine Petroleum in 2001 and has become one of the preeminent petroleum marketers in the western United States, providing a comprehensive fuel, propane and lubricant product offering to commercial and industrial customers. Bowen Petroleum will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of HPC, and will continue to market and operate under the Bowen Petroleum name. The entire management team of Bowen Petroleum, including its vice president and previous owner, Clair Bowen, will continue in their current roles.
