Detroit, MI (April 23, 2008) The Great Lakes Regional International Association of Home Staging Professionals® Chapter (GLRIC) will have their second annual “Parade of ASP® Staged Homes” on Sunday, May 4th from 1-4 pm. “The featured homes have all been Staged by IAHSP® Chapter members and professionally prepared for sale” says GLRIC President Rob Leece. All of the IAHSP® Chapter members are Accredited Staging Professionals® (ASPs). The event is a fund-raiser for the 2008 World-Wide Staging Service Week charity project, sponsored by The International Association of Home Staging Professionals® (IAHSP). Proceeds will benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Detroit.

The “Parade of ASP® Staged Homes” will bring consumer attention to the importance of using Home Staging® to prepare homes for a quick and profitable sale. Each house in the event has been professionally prepared by ASP’s® trained through StagedHomes.com®, The world standard in Staging education! It is an exciting opportunity for discriminating buyers to view the Staged® Homes as well as an educational opportunity for those interested in learning about Home Staging® by an Accredited Staging Professional®. Visitors will learn why ASP® Staging® is a good investment and how it can provide a cost-effective solution for selling their house in this tough market. It is also a good opportunity for the public to view and speak directly with several ASP’s®. The featured ASP® Staged® Homes are located throughout greater Detroit and surrounding metro areas. “We can improve the lives of others through our magic of ASP® Home Staging. When we serve in this way, the benefits to the lives of others are far reaching,” says Barb Schwarz, The Creator of Home Staging, President of IAHSP® International, and Founder of the World Wide Staging Service Week.

Sponsors have made generous contributions in support of the Great Lake IAHSP® Chapter’s Ronald McDonald House project. There is no fee to walk through these homes, but donations are welcome and can be made toward the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southeastern Michigan. Funds generated by the event will support renovation projects at the Ronald McDonald House in Detroit, which will be completed in September by the Great Lakes IAHSP® Chapter members. “This year will be our IAHSP® Chapter’s third annual Worldwide Staging Service Week Project at the Ronald McDonald House in Detroit. Through our members, donations, and business affiliates we have completed to date over $80,000 in renovations” says Carolyn Stieger 2007 Great Lakes Regional IAHSP® Chapter Ambassador.
