ADAMS EXTERMINATING BRANCHES TO NEW AREAS

“You’ve got to grow with the market. There will always be a need for quality and reliable, dependable, people in the home service industry,” said Dustin Adams, manager of the Denton office for Adams Exterminating, which recently expanded to new territories north of Highway 380. The growing areas of Prosper, Crossroads and Little Elm, among other communities north of Denton, have created a need for quality pest control and lawn care services. “Termites eat, roaches crawl, ants sting, rats gnaw, spiders lurk, and weeds grow, and we will continue to fight them back with reliable people using effective and environmentally friendly methods,” said Adams. “We look forward to meeting and working with an ever-growing number of new homeowners in these added service areas.”

Expansion to new markets has greatly benefited Adams Exterminating in the past. Ten years ago, Adams made a big move by expanding to the Lewisville area and increasing its fleet to over 25 trucks. Adams’ Lewisville office now provides service to Flower Mound, The Colony, Frisco, Southlake, Grapevine, Coppell, Bedford and Euless. The expansion worked out well, according to Adams. “The expansion into south Denton County proved to be a good move. As the population increases in new areas, we will be there to protect homes and property. Our area knowledge takes the guesswork out of pest control.”

Adams Exterminating was founded in Denton in 1947. Four generations later, the company is still family-owned and retains many of its original customers and employees. Many families originally served by Virgil Adams still remain loyal customers, a testament to their long-lasting relationships. Three employees have been with the company for over twenty years. Adams Exterminating remains active in their community through civic and church activities, and maintains a strong relationship with its employees, customers and fellow small business owners. “We will continue to serve these new markets with the same dedication we’ve brought to customers for over sixty years.”
