New York, NY, May 19, 2007 - CGI Group Inc. (TSX: GIB.A; NYSE: GIB), a leader in information technology (IT) and business process services, is pleased to announce the release of Proponix360™, a comprehensive version of its customizable, hosted Proponix service, which now provides advanced capabilities for Supply Chain Financing (SCF).

CGI’s Proponix360 solution delivers all the software, infrastructure and support resources necessary to support a bank’s global trade business and the full range of supply chain finance services. With this solution, banks can gain additional revenue from corporate customers and their trading partners. As a hosted service, Proponix360 provides predictable operating costs, significant processing efficiencies, always-current features, and faster time to market for new capabilities.

Proponix360’s supply chain finance capabilities are a direct response to industry trends in trade finance, and were developed jointly with a number of partner banks. New features within Proponix360 include support for Open Account Payments, enhanced Purchase Order/Invoice management and matching, and a broad range of financing capabilities, including receivables financing, pre-shipment, post-shipment, and buyer-backed financing.

“As the trade services business changes, it is critical that banks provide solutions to their corporate customers that don’t just mitigate risk, but optimize their client’s working capital,” said Steve Starace, head of Trade and Supply Chain Finance for CGI. “Proponix360 is a key part of CGI’s strategic direction for banking, delivering new capabilities that allow banks to move beyond marginalized products, such as Letters of Credit, and provide comprehensive end-to-end services that fully support global trade.”
