TUSCAN ANTIQUE REPRODUCTION FURNITURE LINE LAUNCHED BY C. MARIANI SAN FRANCISCO

Mariani Antiques, Restoration & Custom, Inc. has announced the launch of its “Collezione” line of wholesale Tuscan antique reproduction furniture, lighting and accessories. “After more than 25 years in the business of selling period antiques and creating custom furniture for the interior design trade, I felt the time was finally right to reach out to a broader spectrum of designers. Our new Collezione line of antique reproduction Tuscan furniture, lighting, and accessories does just that,” says Claudio Mariani, owner of C. Mariani.

“The credenzas, tables, chandeliers and 35 other furniture reproductions are all designed from our proprietary inventory
of more than 4,000 antiques. We understand that not everyone is looking for a fine 18th century antique and now with our Collezione reproductions, designers can acquire pieces inspired by the originals but at a fraction of the cost. Of course, fine reproductions, even those created by C. Mariani, won’t appreciate like the original antiques. But I like to say that they’re ‘antiques in the making’ and if passed down to loved ones will become highly prized pieces for generations to come.”

ABOUT C. MARIANI ANTIQUES, RESTORATION & CUSTOM: With more than 4,000 antiques in inventory, C. Mariani Antiques, Restoration and Custom furniture is the largest U.S. wholesaler of period 17th, 18th, and 19th century antiques. The firm was founded by Claudio Mariani who came to San Francisco from Southern Italy in 1973. He trained in his family business of fine antique restorations and opened his first antique and restoration shop in 1979. In 1990, he began creating hand made custom furniture for interior designers alongside his antique business. This is his first reproduction line of furniture.
