MORE TICKETS NOW ON SALE FOR ROBERT MUNSCH WITH QUARTETTO GELATO.

Stratford Summer Music announced this morning that Robert Munsch’s Sunday appearance, scheduled for August 7 at City Hall, has been relocated to St. Andrew’s Church in downtown Stratford. Mr. Munsch’s two Stratford concerts with Quartetto Gelato, on August 5 and August 7, had been both sold out but the relocation means that more people can now enjoy this world renowned author and the original music performed by Quartetto Gelato.

Robert Munsch’s book Love you forever has sold more than 25,000,000 copies since publication in Canada in 1986, but this is the first time that it is being performed to music; the score has been written especially for the book by Canadian composer, Marjan Mozetich. Despite being asked numerous times by people worldwide for the right to create authorized music for the book, Mr. Munsch finally agreed when John Miller, Artistic Producer for Stratford Summer Music, asked for this privilege last year.

The world premiere is on August 5 at the Stratford City Hall Auditorium at 11:15am; this time and date has not changed.

Tickets for the August 7 concert are now on sale at 519 273 1600.
