Alpharetta, GA June 16, 2008 - FiberLight, LLC, a metro fiber network provider, today announced Host.net, one of South Florida's leading technology companies, has signed an agreement for an extensive fiber network built by FiberLight. The 10G network from Miami to West Palm Beach will connect major data centers, commercial buildings and carrier POPs to the Host.net facility in Boca Raton. This all-optical pathway supports high bandwidth connections with the lowest possible latency, and "zero jitter", allowing users to achieve maximum Quality of Service (QoS).

"Our metro fiber architecture guarantees zero jitter by design. It's not just an SLA promise, it's a fact" said Michael P. Miller, President and CEO, "Because there are no active electronics between the end points, there is no congestion, and the only delay is the speed of light."

Host.net, a leading provider of colocation, network transport and transit services helps companies communicate effectively, improve operating efficiencies and reduce costs through the utilization of Internet and network-based data and voice applications. They serve highly technical companies with multiple locations and an appreciation of a robust and highly available network.
