Phillips BioFuel Supply Company and Global E Industries is pleased to announce that Champlain Oil Company has joined other forward looking oil distributors in Vermont and has established the first retail biodiesel pump in Chittenden County. A B20 blend is available at the retail pump at the Shell Jiffy Mart at 1855 Shelburne Rd. in South Burlington.

Champlain Oil Company will also be supplying Global E Industries’ biodiesel to Green Mountain Power and to the University of Vermont for their Campus Area Transportation System (CATS) fleet of buses.
"We're really excited that we can reduce emissions from our vehicles by using this fast-growing technology," said Mary Powell, Chief Operating Officer of Green Mountain Power.

Global E Industries now supplies retailers in the northern, central and southern tiers of Vermont with ASTM spec biofuel, which can be blended with over the road or off road diesel fuel, home heating oil, and anywhere diesel fuel is used, with no retrofitting required.

The use of biofuels lowers noxious emissions, increases fuel lubricity, and is a domestically produced fuel supply. It significantly reduces most regulated emissions and is nontoxic and biodegradable. Biodiesel has the highest energy balance of any transportation fuel, including petroleum products. Biodiesel is produced from plant oils such as soy or canola, as well as from recycled vegetable oil.

Global E Industries can be contacted through their marketing firm Phillips BioFuel Supply Company 802-879-1699, and info@phillipsbiofuels.com, www.phillipsbiofuels.com.
