New York and Los Angeles based Mythic Films, shingle for writer/director Ralph Hemecker, is in development on the feature film, bio-pic "Flynn" with Millennium Films. James Acheson of Millennium Films is set to produce. Millennium Films will finance.

On April 6, 1970, fearless adventurer, charismatic B movie star, accomplished photojournalist and legend Sean Flynn, son of Errol Flynn, vanished into the Cambodian jungle, never to be seen again. Throughout his life, the movie-star handsome Sean Flynn made every effort to get beyond his infamous father's shadow. Drawn to the dangerous allure of war and combat Sean made his way to Vietnam, where he befriended and impressed his fellow journalists including Dana Stone, Perry Deane Young, Tim Page and John Steinbeck Jr. and many of the troops he photographed. From there a stroboscopic and quintessentially 60's odyssey began that spanned the globe and ultimately ended deep in the Cambodian jungle where Flynn and his friend Dana Stone were taken hostage by the Khmer Rouge.

The screenplay is written by Ralph Hemecker and Perry Deane Young, based on the book "Two of the Missing" by Young, which chronicles Flynn and company's experiences as journalists during the Vietnam War.

The June 2008 issue of Men's Vogue features an article Twilight of an Idol by Kimberly Cutter detailing her father, Stephen Cutter's search for answers to his childhood best friend, Sean Flynn's disappearance.

Nearly 40 years later the myth of Sean Flynn lives on. Flynn is set for production in 2009.
