StoredIQ Announces Support for Microsoft® Exchange® 2007 and Microsoft® SharePoint® 2007 as Recognized Data Sources

(PRLEAP.COM) Austin, Texas. July 23, 2008 – StoredIQ, a leading provider of enterprise-class Intelligent Information Management solutions, today announced support of Microsoft Exchange 2007 and Microsoft SharePoint 2007. With this enhancement, StoredIQ provides the industry’s most comprehensive solutions for litigation, governance, compliance and risk management across the broadest set of disparate systems.

"Microsoft Exchange 2007 and Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 are expected to see significant adoption in 2008," said Vivian Tero, Program Manager, Compliance Infrastructure for IDC. "Solutions like StoredIQ that index, enable topology mapping, search, and retrieve information across multiple versions of MS Exchange and MS SharePoint, as well as move or copy content to and from MS SharePoint are well suited for corporations that increasingly face the challenge of managing information in multi-version application environments."

In addition to StoredIQ’s existing ability to search and retrieve email messages managed within prior versions of Microsoft Exchange, StoredIQ now provides the same support for Microsoft Exchange 2007. Unlike competing solutions, StoredIQ can manage all mail items stored within Exchange 2007 including calendar items, notes, tasks and contacts. StoredIQ is able to index both private and public mailboxes and can do so on a per mailbox or per server level.

With StoredIQ, companies can index, search, move or copy content to and from SharePoint 2007 servers. From a records management perspective, StoredIQ can discover electronically stored information (ESI) located on servers, storage systems or personal workstations, classify unmanaged ESI and insert those items as records into SharePoint 2007. StoredIQ can also collect and preserve important metadata attributes from ESI residing within SharePoint 2007, adding value to search queries and eDiscovery efforts.

StoredIQ provides a comprehensive eDiscovery solution for companies that need to immediately react to or proactively prepare for litigation or government investigations. Companies can quickly and easily deploy the appliance in-house to crawl and collect active data on their network servers, storage systems and personal computers without disrupting end users. Using StoredIQ technology for topology mapping, classification and search, companies can rapidly target, collect, preserve and process potentially relevant documents, reducing legal risk while saving collection, preservation and processing expense. In addition, StoredIQ’s legally defensible auditing system ensures policies and processes have been followed, and they can be easily searched and exported for outside legal review.
