iToucan.com users will create and choose the site's official slogan

Lowell (MA)-based iToucan.com is engaging in a unique contest where users of the site will be able to create and then vote on a new slogan. iToucan has asked its users to describe the site in six words or less. The user who creates the winning slogan will receive $50 in Toucan Tokens (which may be spent on the site like cash). The "Pick a Slogan Contest" will run from August 13 to August 23, 2005. Voting will then be allowed for 7 days. The winning slogan will be announced on the site on August 30.

According to Dan Stiefel, VP and Director of Toucanovation Projects, "This contest will highlight the power of our small, but rapidly expanding community. The tagline of any business should embody what the business means to its customers. For this reason, I can't think of anyone more qualified than our group of users to make such a decision."
