EcoUsable Provides Stainless Steel Water Bottles to Crew of Raft Made of Junk to Raise Awareness about Plastic Fouling Oceans

(PRLEAP.COM) EcoUsable is providing 150 stainless steel water bottles holding fresh water to "Junk"- a raft made of 15,000 plastic water bottles – that is sailing from California to Hawaii to raise awareness about the danger of plastic in our oceans. At the end of the journey, BPA free, reusable, stainless steel bottles will be handed out to the community to introduce them as an alternative to single-use plastic water bottles.

With a focus on community and grass-roots growth, EcoUsable, announced that it is providing Algalita Marine Research Foundation with the 150 stainless steel water bottles tied to the outside of their junk raft that is built with a discarded airplane cockpit and 15,000 plastic water bottles. The EcoUsable bottles are one source of drinking water for the two man crew.
