Charity Charms Founder Featured for Allowing Charity Supporters to Show Their Passion with Bracelet Charms
(PRLEAP.COM) Phoenix, Ariz. August 2, 2008 – For Charity Charms founder Kay McDonald, spreading the word of charity work by creating bracelet charms in the shape of different logos of charities is something that adds charm to life, literally.
According to a feature in Entrepreneur Magazine, McDonald, the founder of Charity Charms, was inspired to create the company after noticing the rising trend of charm bracelets in the professional world as well as the growing trend of cause marketing from her involvement of charities.
"One day, as I looked down at dozens of charity brochures, I had that ‘aha’ moment," said McDonald in the feature. "Most charities had an adorable icon as part of their logo, which could be extracted and made into a charm. Thus, Charity Charms was born."
Since then, Charity Charms’ mission is to create beautiful awareness jewelry for charities that will benefit their cause. Charity Charms are created from a charity’s logo, and when worn, allow the wearer to show their passion, and talk about charities that are near and dear to their heart. Twenty five percent of the purchase price of each jewelry item and up tp seventy five percent of charity logo charms is donated back to the charity.
