Emilee's Italian Ice Featured in Glastonbury Life

The monthly magazine is mailed free of charge to the Glastonbury community members and delivers local news and information.
The article titled "Emilee’s Italian Ice" explains the inspiration behind the company and how it was formed. Owner Chris Tabora recounts when he was a child and enjoyed the memorable frozen dessert. He decided to bring back the dessert and named the company after his 14 year old daughter. The product is all natural, gluten free, dairy free, cholesterol free, fat free and kosher. Tabora insists that even kids with allergies can eat it.
"The idea to launch the company started in 2003 when Mr. Tabora’s step-father passed away," wrote Glastonbury Life writer Tracey Weiss. ‘"I searched all over to find a manufacturer and found one in Philadelphia,’" Tabora said in the article. ‘"I wanted the logo to be appealing, clear, fresh and fun.’" Tabora also said that he took advantage of the newly popular organic market to brand the products.
