Our Learning Company launches early-autumn interactive teleseminars featuring prominent Jewish authors

(PRLEAP.COM) Boston, Massachusetts – August 21, 2008 – Our Learning Company LLC – With the Jewish High Holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur coming up in less than six weeks, Our Learning Company announces a new series of live, interactive tele-webinars featuring three world renowned Jewish scholars, teachers, authors and thought leaders, and aimed at learners and educators of all background worldwide.

The upcoming series features Brandeis University Professor Reuven Kimelman, author of "The Moral Meaning of the Bible" audio coursebook, Jewish Theological Seminary Professor and theologian Neil Gillman, author of "Encountering God in Judaism" and several other books that have shaped Jewish theological thinking over the last decades, and author of best-seller book "Towards a Meaningful Life" Rabbi Simon Jacobson, Dean of The Meaningful Life Center.

Registered participants have the choice of accessing the live events by either phone or over the internet. They get a chance to ask an initial question on the topic and receive a comprehensive Study Guide for use during the teleseminar. During the live event, the host also takes questions from the live audience. If anyone misses the live event or registers afterwards, they get access to the recording of the entire session.

On August 27, Reuven Kimelman will explore three aspects of the Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) and Yom Kippur liturgy. On September 9, Simon Jacobson will take the audience on a spiritual journey through the Jewish High Holidays, bringing them to the here and now. Finally, in a three-part series starting on September 11, Neil Gillman and Reuven Kimelman will explore one of the most challenging Biblical stories, that of The Binding of Isaac, both as literature as well as theology.
