Orange, NJ – Orange-based Yogi Dental Center has announced the availability of Rajal J. Patel, DDS to perform free oral health screenings for local organizations, schools, and daycare facilities.

Dr. Patel will volunteer her time to educate students and faculty members of the importance of consistent dental maintenance. “We always say here that regular dental care is the key to a great smile,” says Dr. Patel. “It really is the best way to avoid cavities and bleeding gums. We believe instilling that philosophy in people from an early age vastly improves their chances of having strong, healthy teeth that they can keep for many, many years.”

“We would like to remind everyone to visit their dentist on a regular basis,” states Mahmoud A. Helal, DMD. “Sometimes it is easy to forget about our teeth when we aren’t experience any pain. The best way to avoid pain altogether however, is to keep those regular visits, so we can find small problems before they become big ones.”

Dr. Patel has set aside early afternoons on Wednesdays to be available for this community service. Participants will learn the importance of oral hygiene, how to brush and floss properly, and receive recommendations for improved oral health. If you are interested in scheduling Dr. Patel for oral health screenings in your school or organization with no cost or obligation, please contact Ron Uetz at 973-673-1311, or send an e-mail expressing your interest to him at YogiDental@verizon.net.
