Kauffman Foundation To Release Findings on Performance of Minority-Oriented Private Equity Funds Thursday, September 11th

WHAT: A Kauffman Foundation study detailing the performance of minority-oriented private equity funds during an economic downturn will be released at the 15th Annual National Association of Seed and Venture Funds Conference, held in Detroit and hosted by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.

The study will be presented by Dr. William Bradford, professor of finance at Washington University and one of the study's authors, who is also part of a panel discussion that addresses the potential financial returns of seed and emerging manager funds. The Kauffman Foundation-sponsored study will analyze the changes in minority-oriented funds' investment strategies in the early 21st century, following strong performance in the 1990s during a booming economy.
