New Low-Cost Ligand™ catalogue launched by Ascent Scientific - high quality ligands at affordable prices

(PRLEAP.COM) Ascent Scientific (www.ascentscientific.com) announced the launch of the new Low-Cost Ligand™ catalogue. The Autumn 2008 catalogue has almost doubled in size, with new products for glutamate, signalling, ion channel and peptide receptor research.

Ascent Scientific has introduced essential and novel research tools such as the mGlu7 antagonist MMPIP, and the group II agonist LY 354740. Signalling tools include the ALK inhibitor SB 431542 and the commonly used MEK1 inhibitor PD98059.

Steve Roome, Commercial Director announced, "Since the launch of our last catalogue we have almost doubled our number of products, thanks to numerous requests and suggestions from researchers. We now offer a wider range of agonists, antagonists and inhibitors, but still at affordable prices - up to half the price of many other suppliers. I would like to extend a big thank-you to everyone who has suggested a product – and please keep your suggestions coming – we will continue to add them to our range!"
