SiteSpect President and Founder to Speak at Internet Marketing Conference

(PRLEAP.COM) Boston, Mass. – September 9, 2008 — SiteSpect, Inc., the leading provider of non-intrusive multivariate testing and behavioral targeting technology, today announced that its President and Founder, Eric J. Hansen, will be speaking at the Internet Marketing Conference to be held at the Coast Plaza Hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on September 12, 2008.

Internet Marketing Conference (IMC) is a two-day event designed for networking and to teach online marketers the "Tools of Trade." With over 50 speakers from across Europe, Canada and the United States, attendees will learn about web analytics, search engine marketing, content management, and website testing and targeting.

Hansen will be featured as a panelist discussing the topic, "Conversion Optimization" at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, September 12. Following the theme of IMC Vancouver, "Tools of Trade," he will discuss proven methods to enhance conversion rates, the value of website testing, and discuss the tools that are available to marketers.

Hansen is the Founder of SiteSpect and Architect of the SiteSpect solution, the only non-intrusive multivariate and A/B testing solution that helps online marketers increase conversion rates.

Prior to SiteSpect, Hansen founded Worldmachine Technologies, a consulting firm specializing in web engineering for the healthcare and financial services industries. Founded in 1996, Worldmachine was recognized as one of the top twenty web consultancies in New England. At Worldmachine, Hansen led a multi-disciplinary team comprised of engineers, user interface specialists, and e-business analysts. He was responsible for building software solutions that became the platform for content management and e-commerce at dozens of organizations, including John Hancock Insurance, Putnam Investments, CareGroup Health System, and The New England Journal of Medicine.

Previously, Hansen held product management and software engineering positions at several technology firms, including Princeton Transportation Consulting Group, Raytheon, and the Center for Clinical Computing (a joint venture of Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center).
He received his B.A. in Cognitive Science and Psychology with honors from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY.
