Despatch Industries Receives Follow-up Order from Goodrich Aerostructures

Minneapolis, Minn., - September 15, 2008 – Despatch Industries announces the sale of a horizontal solution heat treat furnace to the Goodrich Corporation's Aerostructures business unit. Goodrich most recently purchased two drop bottom solution heat treat furnaces from Despatch and is ordering the new horizontal unit for use in their Mexicali, Mexico facility.

The horizontal furnace will be used to solution heat treat aluminum components that Goodrich supplies to the commercial aircraft industry. This specific furnace is heated electrically, has a 40"W by 40"L by 40"H work basket and a load/unload platform with powered roller bed and lift elevator. Additional features include separate glycol and water tanks, both with heat exchangers for quenchant cooling and a PLC control system.
