Choice Health Care Triples Their Census in Six Months

(PRLEAP.COM) September 17, 2008 – Dayton, Ohio – Choice Health Care, a service that employs certified and licensed care givers into the homes of those in need of medical attention, was created in May 2000 by Tammy Burns, Registered Nurse. As a previous home health nurse, Tammy wanted to start a caretaking service that focused on the patient, not on monetary achievement. However, the company has seen noteworthy success in the past six months.

"I wanted the focus to be on the patient, not the money," Burns said.

Burns created Choice Health Care from the ground up. When the company first started out Tammy was the only employee. She had to manage her office as well as care for all of her clients. Not to mention the pressure that she was under being a new health care company in a town saturated with competition.

Tammy’s efforts have proved successful as her company currently has around 500 patients. Choice Health Care has an outstanding reputation for putting their patients first, and making that their number one priority. Because of this, many of their referrals are word of mouth in addition to the professional referrals they receive.

Burns has seen a dramatic increase in client referrals in the past six months alone. "We are growing leaps and bounds," Burns stated, "We have tripled our census in the last six months."

Tammy does not take all the credit for her company’s outstanding reputation. She attributes a great deal of Choice Health Care’s success to her incredible staff of around 75 care givers. Her staff has a broad range of experience including CNA, RN, Physical therapy Occupational therapy, Speech therapy, Dietary, Social work, and Psychiatric nursing.
