Mike Huml of Slow Boy Racing Joins WASHPA in the Rally Defi
(
PRLEAP.COM) Indiana, PA - September 14, 2008 – Mike Huml took a 5,000 loan from his father, his lifelong passion for cars, and turned it into the multi-million dollar company Slow Boy Racing. Huml’s business is the leading provider of aftermarket performance parts for factory turbocharged cars in the sport compact market.
Jim McClelland of WASHPA Racing was getting his team prepared for the Rally Defi held in Canada this September. Co-driver Jon Price of WASHPA had previous obligations for the weekend and was not going to be able to attend the Rally. What may have been a problematic situation was quickly remedied by another man offering to help the team. This man was none other than Mike Huml.
"I am very excited to be able to help Jim McClelland and the WASHPA team for the remainder of the 2008 season," Huml said.
Huml respects McClelland’s level of dedication and experience. As someone who has had humble beginnings and seen success he never anticipated, Huml can appreciate the commitment that McClelland has for racing.
"Jim has a passion for the sport that is almost unrivaled at any level and his commitment to the sport of the rally is immeasurable," Huml stated.
The Rally Defi took place on September 5th and 6th.
