Despatch CEO Participates in US Clean Energy and Environment Trade Mission to China and India

Minneapolis, Minn., - September 16, 2008 – Patrick Peyton, Chairman and CEO of Despatch Industries, a global leader in the clean technology industry, is participating in the third U.S. Clean Energy and Environment Trade Mission to China and India. Mr. Peyton joined the group on the second leg of the mission, focusing on environmental and energy issues in India and is visiting New Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai. Peyton is one of 19 delegates in the mission which is led by U.S. Commerce Assistant Secretary David Bohigian.

The goal of the mission is to match participating U.S. companies with opportunities in the fast-growing markets of China and India where American clean energy and environmental firms can thrive while helping to improve the environment and meet the incredible demands for energy in these booming countries. All companies included in the mission have a focus on clean energy and energy efficiency technologies or services such as renewable energy, clean coal, or environmental technologies including air pollution abatement, water, waste or instrumentation and monitoring equipment. During the mission, delegates are meeting one-on-one with prescreened potential partners, agents, distributors, licensees and retailers in each of the six cities.

India is a market of particular interest to Despatch due to the strong business prospects in solar and wind energy.
