insurepink wins Charity Times Awards

PRLEAP.COM) Insurepink, Equity’s specialist breast cancer travel policy, has won ‘Best Insurance Services Provider’ at the 2008 Charity Times awards. The awards recognize excellence in the professional services offered to the charity sector.
Presenting the award at London’s Lancaster Hotel, the judges said: "A new set of
travel insurance products for those with breast cancer showed real innovation, and the partnership work demonstrated a commitment to charities in this area."
In its ninth year, The 2008 Charity Times Awards were, the judges agreed, "of the highest calibre they had ever seen."
Equity executive and the architect of insurepink, Fiona Macrae said: "insurepink was developed following lengthy consultation with many breast cancer charities; it addresses their concerns and the personal experiences of many sufferers. I am very proud to be associated with its success."
The Equity group is donating £1 for every insurepink
travel insurance policy and £10 for every motor and home policy to The Pink Ribbon Foundation. To date it has donated more than £60,000 through product sales and special fundraising events. And to give donations an additional boost for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, they are donating an additional 50% on top of that for all policies sold up until 15 November.
