Top 20 Christmas Toys On eBay UK, Announces AuctionLotwatch

Free Auction Tools provider Auctionlotwatch.co.uk announced today its predictions for what will be the most popular Christmas toys on eBay UK. Based on industry source predictions the list highlights some past favourites.

The Top Twenty list includes a new twist on the old favourite, Monopoly, with the new Monopoly Here and Now World Edition featuring 22 cities from around the world. Also included are other firm favourites such as the Doctor Who and Star Wars with their voice changer offerings. Well known brands predicted to make a resurgence this year include Meccano & Scalextric.

The top toys are predicted to be:
1) The Baby born with Magic Potty;
2) Hannah Montana Feature Doll;
3) Bakugan Starter Pack;
4) Monopoly Here and Now World Edition.

"This year with the credit crunch in full effect we are predicting that toy retailers will be heavily discounting prices which may mean that the best sellers are sold out before the Christmas shopping season gets into full swing." Says Managing Director Steve Durkin.

In previous years high demand and short supply often meant frustrating trips to the high street for shoppers combined with paying inflated prices for those must have toys.

"With eBay lauching a £1.5million ad campaign in the UK it will continue to be a prominent venue for shoppers looking for a bargain".

UK consumers are expected to splash out £13.16 billion in online shopping, or £215 pounds per person in the run up to Christmas according to a report by industry body IMRG (Interactive Media In Retail Group) and consulting firm Capgemini.
