(PRLEAP.COM) Dicar Manufacturing Solutions, a leading Silicon Valley manufacturer of custom cable assemblies, electrical harnesses and electromechanical assemblies, has acquired Santa Clara-based manufacturing firm Ibarra Bros. Terms of the transaction were not announced.

Ibarra Bros. specializes in fabrication and assembly of small, high-precision metal and sheet metal devices for commercial applications, including the connector and microwave industries.

Continued Garcia, "Bringing Ibarra Bros. into our operation provides our customer base with more extensive capabilities that help reduce their supply chain, as well. It strengthens our commitment to growing Dicar Manufacturing Solutions and to our loyal customers. This makes Dicar Manufacturing Solutions a more attractive partner for high mix/low volume OEM’s looking for turnkey support for their product line."
