August 20, 2005 (PRLEAP.COM) Lifestyle News
(Greeley, CO) –Come Reason Ministries announces that a special lecture entitled “Why Christianity is Inherently Reasonable,” will be presented to the student body at the University of Northern Colorado and will feature popular author and speaker Dr. Paul Copan. Also open to the general public, this extraordinary event will challenge audience members to abandon any criticisms to Christianity as unjustified and demonstrate that Christianity is a viable intellectual option in the marketplace of ideas. The September 15 lecture will be followed by a question and answer period and will be supported by several other teaching sessions, each training participants on the reasonableness of the Christian faith.

Come Reason Ministries has confirmed the following sessions are scheduled to be presented September 15 and 16:

> At noon on September 15, Lenny Esposito, President of Come Reason Ministries will present the motivating talk entitled “Apologetics Means Never Having to Say Your Sorry” designed to equip participants with some basic tools to rationally and effectively witness to others, offering questions for the critics, and demonstrating how to avoid “smokescreen questions” that hold no merit.

> On Sept. 15 at 1:00 PM Dr. Copan will present the engaging topic “Defending a Christian Worldview on the University Campus” that will help students understand the specific challenges and difficulties they may face from teachers and others who are antagonistic to the Christian faith and highlight the subtle tactics professors sometimes employ to discredit Christianity.

>On September 16 at 12:00 PM, the Greeley Wesleyan Church will host a business luncheon where Lenny Esposito will speak on the theme “Working God into Your Business”. The aim of the lecture is to equip decision-makers to make the moral and ethical decisions that have become increasingly difficult in today’s culture.

The University lecture will be held September 15, 2005 from 7:00 – 9:00 at the University of Northern Colorado, 2101 10th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80639. Admission is free and open to the public. More information on the event can be found at www.daretodefend.org or www.comereason.org.
