With the freedom and flexibility of a Eurocamp holiday, there's no better way for families to experience the real France. And with new parcs and accommodation - as well as an even greater offering for toddler holidays - there's never been a better time than 2009 to take an unforgettable Eurocamp holiday.

The UK's leading European camping holiday operator, Eurocamp has added two stunning, very different new destinations to its collection of 47 French parcs.

Criques de Porteils, Languedoc
Cirques de Porteils, in Collioure, provides the backdrop for the perfect Mediterranean camping holiday. Nestled on a rocky Languedoc cove on the southernmost coastline of France, this small, truly authentic parc is the most stunning setting for a cultural, relaxing holiday. It boasts several small private beaches - making it ideal for sunbathing and snorkeling.

Reflective of its beautiful surroundings - and with the origins of Catalan 'art de vivre' based in Collioure - Criques de Porteils also runs art classes for adults.

The parc is just a short walk into the stunning town of Collioure, with a number of seafood restaurants it's the perfect place to grab a bite to eat. Alternatively holidaymakers way wish to take a short drive away to the larger nearby resorts and attractions of Argelès Plage.

Le Village Parisien, Varreddes
Just 11 miles away from Disneyland® Resort Paris - and a half-hour train ride from the centre of the French capital - Le Village Parisien brings Eurocamp closer than ever to the City of Lights.

Located in Varreddes, on the banks of the River Marne, Le Village Parisien provides a charming, great value camping experience near the picturesque environs of a city more renowned for its costly hotels and fast pace.

Combining thrills, spills and bright lights with a stunning natural setting, it's also perfect for those after a more authentic camping experience who want enjoy both the great outdoors - fishing, walking along the river or cycling along the canal two-path opposite - with lots of attractions nearby.

Take to the road in a motorhome
With more people than ever choosing a motorhome holiday, Eurocamp has introduced this exciting getaway option for 2009 - allowing you to discover all of France's hidden treasures.

With a celebrity following - reportedly enjoyed by the likes of Jamie Oliver, Jenson Button and Take That's Mark Owen - four-wheeled holidays combine the freedom of the open road with all the home comforts.

With eleven pick up and drop off points across France - plus the freedom to move across borders - Europe is so accessible. So tailor-make a trip that takes in beach, country and even city destinations, exploring all those places you've always dreamed of visiting in one unique holiday.

Decide on a starting point and work with Eurocamp to select the first parc. After that it's over to the individual's choice - using a fully-comprehensive parc directory and booking guide and stay wherever is preferred en-route or plan ahead and pre-book a pitch reservation.

Holiday Villages
Eurocamp are also offering holidaymakers the option to stay at an amazing collection of hand picked family friendly apartments in authentic French locations - Eurocamp Holiday Village's, which are committed to providing first rate facilities, beautiful locations and holidays that are full of local colour.

Tumble Tots launch
Eurocamp has also launched a new initiative, perfect for those with small children. As of this spring, Tumble Tots - Britain's leading physical play programme - will provide sessions at seven of Eurocamp's 'Toddler Friendly' parcs in the Vendée and Brittany regions of France.

Both regions are ideally suited to family holidays due to their gentle summers, beautiful sandy beaches and close proximity to the Channel ports - which means easy accessibility from the UK and less time travelling.

New for 2009 - Free swimming lessons
And for those little ones who like to splash about, this year Eurocamp has also teamed up with the world largest swim teaching and lifesaving organisation (STA - Swimming Teachers' Association) to give little 'Eurocampers' a fantastic opportunity to learn to swim while on holiday.

The courses cater for ages from birth to five years, with 30 minute sessions running almost every day - a great way for children to enjoy the fantastic swimming pool facilities the designated Eurocamp parcs.
