(PRLEAP.COM) SAN DIEGO – WalleyeDirect.com has just completed the purchase and transfer of the Web site FreshFish4U.com. FreshFish4U.com went online in 1998 and has been a high-quality supplier of lake fish and premium seafood to customers across the United States.
"FreshFish4U.com was an early leader, but the Web site had gone stale," said Jesse Ness, owner of WalleyeDirect.com. "We were interested in buying FreshFish4u.com because the company listed many of the same products, primarily walleye and yellow perch fillets. We felt that customers would make the switch to a fresher site that specialized in the same products," owner Jesse Ness said.
In addition to walleye and yellow perch, Walleye Direct also sells freshwater fish fillets that are hard to find including crappie, bluegills or sunfish, rainbow trout, catfish, lake smelt and northern pike.
"We have expanded our own customer base organically in the past two years and acquiring a top competitor will allow us to jump start new marketing plans," Ness said. "A customer that is looking to buy walleye online is likely looking for other lake fish such as crappie and bluegill."
