Embassy Suites Chevy Chase in Washington DC Upgrades Luxury Hotel With $5.2 Million Renovation

Washington, D.C. – February 4, 2009 – During a year of great change in the nation's capital, The Embassy Suites Washington, D.C. at the Chevy Chase Pavilion also is transforming with the completion of a $5.2 million renovation. Every aspect of this Washington, DC area hotel was upgraded to provide guests with contemporary amenities and décor in the renovated hotel's 198 suites, public areas, restaurant, fitness center and 6,400 square feet of meeting space.

The contemporary style of the renovation features earth tones of beige, camel and rust for a fresh look throughout the luxury hotel near Chevy Chase, MD. The colors blend with the skylight atrium of the Pavilion with bright white walls, support beam and brass fixtures. All guest suites were completely renovated with new carpet, wall coverings, soft and hard good furnishings. New fixtures, counters and vanities were added to guest bathrooms. New high-definition televisions were added to every renovated suite with a 32-inch unit in the bedroom and a 37-inch television in the living room. The high-speed Internet system has been replaced and upgraded to the new Hilton Stay Connected system and telephones also have been replaced and upgraded, resulting in cordless telephones in every suite.

Embassy Suites at the Chevy Chase Pavilion offers numerous amenities that also were renovated including Café Cino, the on-site restaurant, and the fitness center. For workouts, guests can enjoy the largest free-to-guest fitness center in the Washington, D.C. and Chevy Chase, MD area. The fitness center received a facelift with upgraded Precor Fitness Equipment and a full weight station among other standard amenities. New flooring, customized wall coverings, locker rooms and more were included in the fitness center's new upgrades. The property also added a unique eco-friendly feature to the pool in the fitness center with a saline system which omits the need for chemical chlorine.
