Marlborough, MA, February 11, 2009 – Portcullis Systems, Inc., a Microsoft and HP partner, brings new offerings to the network security market with worldwide deployment and support options for the company's solutions featuring Microsoft Intelligent Application Gateway (IAG) 2007 and Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2006.

Portcullis Systems is pleased to announce their new appliance product lines based on hardware from HP. This enhances their existing product line to bring a broad selection of appliance offerings to fit customer's size and budget needs.

"Portcullis Systems steps beyond the typical IAG and ISA Server solutions to bring a higher function appliance to their customers. By combining these advanced technologies on Enterprise-Class hardware from manufacturers like HP and NEI – all backed by worldwide support options that include up to four-hour onsite response," said John "JG" Chirapurath, director of marketing for Microsoft Identity and Security. "Portcullis Systems solutions are ideal for a wide range of enterprises that need to provide security and secure remote access for their workforce."

Portcullis CEO Michael Oldham founded the company to make it easier for organizations to implement strong security without the need to make major investments in technology and staff. "Our systems leverage the award-winning Microsoft security solutions including IAG 2007 and ISA 2006 to provide the strongest application-level security available. We enhance these great products with additional software technologies to boost the application value and round this off with our advanced appliance management technologies," Oldham said. "Today our focus is on strong, turn-key security appliances the make deployment, and particularly ongoing management, simple and efficient."

Portcullis Solutions incorporate their PSAM (Portcullis Systems Appliance Management) on each appliance to manage hardware and software alerts, enable full patch management, provide detailed status reporting, reduce support time to resolution with Virtual Engineer, Remote Support Access and add full backup and restore capabilities.
"We believe support is critical to the long-term relationships we build with our customers," Oldham continued. "We provide 24 x 7 x 365 call center and email support with a guaranteed callback within one hour. In addition, we can provide our customers with up to 4-hour onsite hardware support services for our products around the world."
The Portcullis Systems Secure Remote Access Gateway appliances enable customers to eliminate client-based VPN access by creating secure portals as the external interface to their internal networks. This enables any device with a web browser to establish secure access to applications using the SSL technology included in every web browser. Remote access is controlled for each user based on the organization's security policies and the security posture of the user's device. This enables access to be dynamically adjusted for users operating endpoints, including PCs, laptops, PDAs, and Internet kiosks.
