HighRely's RelyTRACE Version 2.3 Released: Added Traceability Graphics, Faster Engine, and Reporting Options.

(PRLEAP.COM) HighRely’s popular RelyTRACE traceability tool for safety critical software/hardware projects has added important new features. The latest version, RelyTRACE 2.3, has a faster engine, full graphics rendering of the requirements/design/code/test traceability schema, and added traceability reporting options. RelyTRACE is relied upon by key avionics, medical device, and safety-critical product companies to efficiently manage and prove their FAA DO-178 traceability, FAA DO-254 traceability, and FDA 510(k) traceability conformance.

RelyTRACE 2.3 generates Visualization Graphs of every trace path and the overall Traceability Schema. The graphs are generated automatically every time the user runs the traceability. RelyTRACE gives the engineers the choice to use standard default traceability graphing and reporting options or to enable user-defined traceability for unique DO178, DO254 and 510k traceability. For portability and flexibility reasons, RelyTRACE produces output in the dot language. DOT is a plain text graph description language. It is a simple way of describing graphs that both humans and computer programs can use. DOT graphs are typically files that end with the .dot extension. Various programs exist to process DOT files. These programs can read DOT files and render them, or provide an interface to manipulate the graphs. The user can choose to output this graph, to any format they wish.
