RENO, Nevada and LONG BEACH, California, February 24, 2009 – WIS:DOM Information Systems, Inc. a developer of third party logistics software systems and IBM Business Partner, headquartered in Sparks, Nevada, has been named a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) partner of ACOM Solutions, Inc. it was announced today by ACOM Senior Vice President James R. Scott and WIS:DOM Founder/President Matthew Booher.

The WIS:DOM product line includes both warehouse management and transportation management systems (WMS/TMS) that enable precise, highly automated management of multiple customers' inventory and carrier requirements, from a single, central platform. Programmed in the 4GL LANSA language, the WIS:DOM suite supports the IBM System i, operating system environment and its predecessors, allowing users to work in either the green screen or the LANSA RAMP graphical environment.

ACOM's solutions automate organizations' document & payment processes and can quickly provide significant cost savings by improving staff productivity as much as 400 percent; eliminating the need for file cabinets ; reducing manual entry errors; and by cutting printing and mailing costs. They are available as a fully-integrated suite (including software for document design and production, payments, EDI-XML trading partner management, and enterprise content management), or as a modular system so organizations can implement the parts they need today and add solutions as their needs and budgets allow. They they are available in versions for the iSeries/System i and Microsoft Windows environments.

According to Booher, WIS:DOM was so impressed with ACOM's software that the company will integrate ACOM's document output and distribution capabilities with the WIS:DOM system and offer the ACOM EZContentManager document management solution, as an option.

"WIS:DOM is architected specifically for the complexities of multiple-customer operations, found in today's third party logistics (3PL) environment," he said. "Our affiliation with ACOM will enable us to improve our document production, handling and distribution capabilities, streamlining not only internal processes but also the delivery of such documents by email and fax as well as on the web. The objective is to enable third party logistics and transportation providers to provide enhanced service capabilities to their clientele. Going forward, there will be no WIS:DOM systems sold without ACOM components integrated."

The company's recent emphasis has been the Northern Nevada area, Booher said, but the current intent is to direct marketing activity to underserved third party WMS and TMS providers in a number of metropolitan areas. For example, he feels that his solution is ideal for single and multi-client warehouse operations of up to 300,000 square feet of space.

"Logistics by nature has been one of the most paper-intensive industries because of the critical need for documentation at every phase of product storage and movement," Scott observed. "As a result, a powerful trend has emerged to replace paper forms with electronic documents and electronic document distribution. All of these capabilities are present in ACOM's EZeDocs solutions for System i and Windows environments, from the creation of document forms to the paperless delivery of completed documents to customers. We are delighted to have been chosen as WIS:DOM's partner in furnishing these capabilities."

According to Booher, he expects the integration of the ACOM solutions with WIS:DOM to provide his product with a competitive edge: "We will be able to offer some great services and functionality that competitors for our intended market do not have," he said.
