BOSTON - March 30, 2009 - Travel Video PostCard Founder Kaleel Sakakeeny today announced a strategic content agreement with Professional Travel Guides (PTG) to provide editorial-quality travel videos to increase consumer engagement on PTG.com. PTG provides only professionally produced travel information and is considered the world's most comprehensive travel and trip planning resource.

"With Travel Video PostCard now on PTG, Kayak's YouTube page, Trip Advisor, Travel Weekly and Parenthood.com, TVP has gained significant traction as the Internet's short form Travel Video," said Sakakeeny. "In addition, these videos are embedded on more than 1M Web pages globally in a pure viral marketing play," he concluded.

Travel Video PostCard will provide custom one-minute videos to PTG, produced using natural sound, with Video Search Engine Optimization, and then published on YouTube to maximize viral distribution. In addition, the videos are linked to relevant blogs, analytical reports with viewer demographics, details on rankings and placements, and viewer comments. This consumer insight is valuable to travel marketers to assist them in shaping campaigns in real-time.

In recent AOL-AP poll, 34 percent of consumers reported they are basing travel decisions on video, as opposed to print, which is 14 percent. Travel Video PostCard is well-positioned to assist the hospitality sector in adding video and social media to their marketing mix to influence consumers, given this trend.
