Basingstoke, UK, April 2nd, 2009 - Mobile IQ the leader in mobile publishing solutions, has announced at CTIA Las Vegas, major expansion into the US market to support a growing customer base in North America.

The company has opened an office in San Jose, California, hot on the heels of several high profile US customer announcements, including the New York Post, The Guardian and LimeLife.

Mobile IQ delivers cutting edge mobile sites, including Big Brother mobile for UK broadcaster Channel 4. Its market leading platform, Fabric, has enabled high profile brands to deploy rich mobile content portals, and media agencies to use the mobile web as a key part of new media marketing campaigns. Mobile IQ has seen a 25% month on month increase in traffic, with growth occurring from both on and off carrier sites.

"We are delighted that our customer success in the US has enabled us to accelerate our expansion. We believe that our experience in the European market is invaluable to US companies, as they are keen to learn what has worked elsewhere and adapt those strategies for US consumers" said Shaun Barriball, Managing Director of Mobile IQ.

He continued, "We're continually looking for ways to reduce the local barriers to entry for our customers. In the US, that means supporting double opt-in, a broad range of devices and partnering with billing providers like Bango to open up the premium off-deck market".

The US presence opens its doors from April 1st and existing US customers can now benefit from local support.
