Marco's Pizza Expands into California

TOLEDO, OHIO – April 21, 2009 – Marco's Pizza (Marco's Franchising, LLC), headquartered in Toledo, Ohio, will open its first store in California on April 24, 2009. The authentic Italian pizza company now operates in 17 states.

Nidhi and Deepak Gupta, Marco's area representatives for Northern California and residents of Pleasanton, own and operate the store. The Guptas plan to open a total of 36 Marco's locations in the East Bay, North Bay and Central Valley areas.

Marco's Pizza stores employ 20 to 25 local residents each, which means significant employment opportunities for these areas in the long term.
