Digital Entertainment Guerrillas in Our Midst

www.boostdigital.com launches itself
on an unsuspecting viewing public.

“boostdigital.com will become the most important resource the independent film and music industries have ever had.”
Graeme Logan

Sydney, September 1st, 2005

Boostdigital.com. the world’s first on-line content portal for the independent film and music industries, had its international launch in Sydney, Australia, today.

Committed to ‘Art expressed through the medium of picture and sound’, Boostdigital.com breaks the stranglehold of mainstream film and music distribution, by offering filmmakers and musicians the opportunity to show their work free-of-charge on the web.

"Now, thanks to Boostdigital.com, any filmmaker or musician anywhere in the world can get their work in front of the highest echelon of industry professionals, twenty four hours a day, seven days a week; streamed in real time on the world wide web.”

Boostdigital.com is committed to promoting independent artists by encoding, hosting and streaming short films, animations, music videos, documentaries and full-length feature films, and music free of charge. Boostdigital.com is also committed to representing filmmakers and musicians by actively marketing their work in traditional and new media channels, and by offering them free services to help promote both themselves and their work.

“You no longer have to know someone or be a member of the 'in-crowd' to get your big showbiz break," said Logan. "All you need now is talent. Boostdigital.com will take care of the rest.”

To utilise Boostdigital.com, filmmakers and musicians simply submit details of their work on-line, and then forward a DVD, SP-Beta master or CD of their film or music to their nearest Boostdigital.com submission office. boostdigital.com have submission offices around the world, including Australia, United Kingdom, and the United States.

“New films and Music will be gathered from our offices around the globe and up-loaded onto the site once a week,” said Logan. “This way we create an interactive and constantly evolving on-line community for filmmakers, musicians and fans alike”.

“Boostdigital.com is designed to take the art of the people, to the people,” said Logan. “And to facilitate this we make a point of not judging the work we receive. However the audience will do that. Boostdigital.com believes all art deserves a chance to find an audience.”

“We are really excited about the opportunities boostdigital.com will create for filmmakers and musicians,” Logan continued. “This is what boostdigital.com is all about".

Boostdigital is now inviting short film makers and creators of independent music, no matter what genre, to send their work now and the first submissions will be showing up on the site very soon.
