Dentist Websites Deserve Great Domain Names

Dental website marketing resource The Internet Dental Alliance has announced the introduction of "Dental Domain Name Search," a free service for dentists and dental practices. IDA's Internet marketing consultants will suggest domain names for dental websites that are available and can lead to more new patient requests.

Jim Du Molin, dental marketing expert and founder of IDA, often recommends that dentists secure multiple domain names for their dental practices. "It all comes down to what particular type or types of high-value patients dentists want in their chairs. Why not have one site for people who want to find a dental implant dentist, another for braces, another for sedation dentistry, and so on?"

For dentists, a successful domain name is one that will rank well with the search engines. Dental website domain names should include the sorts of keywords that prospective dental patients will search for. When patients want to find a dentist online, they tend to include two pieces of information: their geographic area and the type of dental treatment they're seeking.

Du Molin offers an example. "Let's say you're practicing cosmetic dentistry in Salinas, California. The Holy Grail would be getting your dental website to the top position in Google for a search term like 'Salinas cosmetic dentist.' People have natural search patterns, and you want your site to rank for the most popular search phrases."

IDA's team of SEO experts will review a dentist's location and services to suggest dentist domains that are available and will improve the chances of a successful Internet marketing campaign. There is no charge for this service. Dentists simply fill out a brief form online and, within a few days, a search engine consultant will send a list of available domain names that would suit the practice and rank well with search engines.
